We are delighted to be working with Select Roofing from Ireland on the development of state of the art new-build facility East London Arts and Music Academy in Bromley-by-Bow, Stratford, East London.
Select Roofing are a relatively new account to Regis and we have rapidly developed a close working relationship based on trust and surety that we can supply the correct and most suitable products to suit the project and deliver to the exact requirements on time and in full. Select Roofing trusted Regis with the supply of the rain-screen rails and brackets from the NVelope range of products. We also managed to secure regular orders for the high quality stainless steel fasteners required to complete this project.
For Regis this was a great project where staff widened their knowledge on the NVelope system and were under pressure to achieve delivery’s that met the requirements of Select Roofing. This was another project where we could demonstrate our ability to deliver on a fast moving project in London all serviced from our office in Scotland, regularly delivering next day timed deliveries to site to keep the project moving.
We look forward to further developing our relationship with Select on upcoming contracts.
The £10 million project is set to replace the temporary ELAM facility in Stratford set up in September 2014, after Tower Hamlets Council’s development committee gave the green light to planning permission for a permanent home near the Blackwall Tunnel.
ELAM, an innovative industry academy for young people aged 16-19 interested in a career in the arts, will offer places for 300 pupils as well as film studios, music facilities and a world class recording studio and has been co-founded by Universal Records. It will also have its own theatre with a capacity of 500 in the heart of the building.
Designed with Hunters South Architects, the 3150m2 design and build project is due to open in April 2017.
Charlie Kennard, Principal of ELAM, commented that “We are very excited. We are looking forward to moving to continue our growth.”
